The competition was posted on the official folklore forum on 27th September 2007. The contest is to literally “Design-A-Folk”, including its name, appearance, description and attack. Entries will be judged by a panel at Japan’s Game Republic studios, that will include the game's creator Yoshiki Okamoto. The winning design will be turned into a real folk, which will be downloadable from the PSN. The winner and four runners-up will receive a copy of Folklore and a Folklore goody bag.

Competition Winner Edit

Over 200 original and imaginative designs were entered into the competition. A gallery showing the runners up can be found here. The winner was Jeff Read from the UK, who created the Folk Malion. This folk was added as a free download to the PSN on the 7th February 2008. Congratulations.
