Recommended Strategy

Galley-Beggar has a very powerful punch and slam attack so it is best to attack from a long range with a folk such as Bullseye.

Once you've acquired Galley-Beggar, though, you'll probably find him useful the rest of the game. When fighting ANY Folk vulnerable to Destroy, Galley-Beggar works quite well--it deals a fair amount of damage and attacks rather swiftly.
